Outreach Materials

All partner shops displayed this 11"x17" poster to inform customers of our campaign.

We asked community members who opted to receive a free cup to take a pledge using this card.

QR Code Flyer.png

We asked every partner to display this sign at their point-of-sale counter or coffee pick-up bar.

Backroom one-pager.png

We distributed this one-pager for partner shops to hang in their employee areas. For shops, especially those with larger teams, this was instrumental to ensuring all baristas were on the same page and knew about our program.

This 5"x5" window cling is displayed by all cafe partners. It signals to all customers they accept reusables, serving as a reminder for them to BYOC.

Eastside BYOC Business Flyer.png

To best connect with cafe managers and owners, we created a double-sided flyer with information on the partnership, incentives for them to participate, and addressed barriers they may face for participation.

BYOC Postcard Public View.png

This postcard serves as a giveaway and activity for folks to  encourage loved ones to reuse. The back of the postcard has the same message repeated in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. A Canva link is available to copy and edit.

Giveaways

_D757823.jpg

We gave away branded reminder tools at events so people could make it easier to create a BYOC habit. Throughout our campaigns, we've distributed:

  • Reusable cups

  • Keychains

  • Tea towels

  • Stickers

All had our campaign logo placed front and center, which highlighted our campaign's message. In our region, we found that many people already had reusable cups and instead they opted for a tea towel or keychain. There's plenty of room for creativity here and we encourage campaign planners to find fun ways to remind ourselves to keep up the action!

Interlocal Agreements

Due to the nature of our first grant, in order to partner we were required to create an ILA.

Please contact us for more information or for a sample of our agreement.

The four cities, under one grant, used an MOU to partner. This was because money was not exchanged across cities; all payments and reimbursement requests were made through one lead city. This process took one-third the amount of time that the ILA did to route through all cities.

For usage rights of the art pieces we commissioned, we needed to create this agreement. Each city needed to sign an agreement with each artist that we worked with.
